We Just Bamboozled the Mets
Wow, just saw the news. WFAN reporting (and Rosenthal confirming) that the Nats have traded Brian Schneider and Ryan Church to the Mets for Lastings Milledge. I'm going to join with Chris at CP and Brian at NFA in calling this a BIG win for the Nats.
Mets fans are in a tizzy. Tee hee.

I'm not read to acknowledge this as a "steal" yet, but I do think that in the long term, The Nationals win.
Basically, the Nationals Traded Brian and Ryan to the Mets for Lastings Milledge and Jesus Flores (who we got for free).
In 3 years, Flores & Milledge will be solid players/stars and 25 years old while Brian will be 33 and Ryan 32.
Add Flores in the mix and it's a true steal. Without him, well, get back to me in a couple of years.
And good to have you back.
